Bonnie Brenda Scott is an award winning mutli-disciplinary experimental video
artist and animator who has also worked in the areas of television and theatre
arts. Her work focuses thematically on social, spiritual and psychological queries,
while aesthetically she maintains a purposeful corrosion. The essential, inexhaustible
flaw
that exists within every object is the nucleus for her experimentation in art.
Exposing an imperfection and rolling it into a new form is, for her, a method
of mediation and an exercise in acceptance and mindfulness.
She made a film about the Tibetan Book of the Dead called BARDO, which was the recipient of the 2006 Annie E. Sinnott prize for filmmaking. She wrote and directed an original play called There are Reasons for the Body that Life Forgets, which was produced in 2002. Her work has appeared in the Philadelphia Art Alliance, the Rosenbach Museum, the MOOV/HD cable network and McSweeney's, among other places. She made this art in hopes of getting to know you better.

Here is how I am treating the World:
"Help me. Help me. Help me. Help me. Help me."
