Mira Gohel presents an installation of travel photography in miniature.  Travel is a way of life for Mira Gohel; initially by necessity, and now by choice.  The images and sounds in this exhibition are mementos of initial impressions gleaned from exploring unfamiliar territories over the last few years.  Taken as a whole, they simultaneously reflect her awe and unease with her surroundings.  

The individual images are presented on a very small scale in order to, alternately, encourage close inspection of a single image and to experience the entirety of the installation at once.  With over 200 compact images interspersed with ambient recordings taken from the same locations, Mira prompts the viewer to consider their place on this planet.
